SOUTZOUKOS WITH GRAPE JUICE AND ALMONDS 250g

Soutzoukos is one of the most characteristic, traditional sweets on the island that has been made in villages for generations. It is made of a thick creamy mixture of genuine grape juice, flour and flavourings.

Considered as the most well-known grape juice based sweet, Soutzoukos is made with soaked whole almonds or walnuts which are then literally threaded with a cotton thread

which gives it its unique appearance (it looks similar to a candle!).

A tasty combination of crunchiness and sweetness, incredibly addictive!

Ingredients: Grape juice, wheat flour (gluten), almonds, vanilla, preservative: Sodium benzoate.

May  also contains sesame seeds, nuts with shells, peanut, dried fruits, soya and products contain sulphur dioxide SO₂.
